Worst Wrecks In The 'Verse

Bad poetry is like a really bad analogy.

And super fun to write.

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day??

...no.

Chomp

We were all so sorry
To hear of your fate,
We still don't know
How it escaped from the crate,
But...

Movement In P Major

You are such fun
Second to none,
Indeed it's true,
You're not number 2

Belaboring The Point

I do not mean to vex
Or be overly complex
I'm awkward at showers
Would you have preferred flowers?
Ah well...

Getting It All Out There

You're the Duchess to my Duke
The Leia to my Luke
And when I think about you
I really want to

...feed you cake.

Thanks to Peter F., Sharon M., Brandy, James H., & Joel P. for finding no rhyme or reason to these wrecks.

P.S. Are you in the market for bad poetry in the form of "an unholy, unmerciful, but richly humorous book"?Then YOU ARE IN LUCK:

The Stuffed Owl: An Anthology of Bad Verse

This is going on my gift-list.

Makin' Memories, 2020 Style

So tell me, minions, what wonderful memories have YOU made this summer?

Elizabeth+Wal-FB-melting+hot+tub+ppl.jpg

Oh, c'mon. Surely you did SOMETHING fun.

Like your birthday! Remember that?

Ah. Right. Hey, someday you might look back on your single-serve toilet paper "quarateen" cake and laugh and laugh.

Besides, while we've all had our ups and downs this year, some of us have had a GREAT time:

Joe and Terry, for example.

Also my definition of "great time" is on a sliding scale for 2020.

I think the take-away here is that we should celebrate the little things, the little moments. Like the one when your job orders a cake with a dinosaur on it wearing a mask, and you get to put THIS in the break room:

See, that's making some memories, right there.

Thanks to Elizabeth W., Thomas S., Anony M., & Tonya R. for the, um, dino-mite.

P.S. Speaking of memorable moments, I just found the perfect thing to bring this whole post together:

An Iron Dinosaur TP Holder

It also holds paper towels, but the TP is funnier. :D
