Sunday Sweets Brings You A Bounty Of Mandalorian Cakes

Season 2 of The Mandalorian started airing this month, so guess how we're going to celebrate!

BY USING THE FORKS.

[...]

AND ALSO WITH CAKE.

Ok, so that wasn't hard to guess. But what can I say?

[Baker unknown; help?]

Aha, yep, I could probably say that.

I tried to find a fun mix of art styles for you, since there are so many to choose from. Check out how they did this buttercream sky:

I also tried to find mostly cakes with Mando actually on them... since we all know who the REAL star is:

(The Lovely Baker, online tutorials)

The Froggy Menace.

Also known as The Child, Baby Yoda, and the reason I'm grinning ear-to-ear:

Eeee! SO CUTE.

More great art:

And here's one with more of the Child's babysitters:

We definitely need a dramatic silhouette in here:

Yassss.

I think it's possible - just maybe? - that this cake is actually cuter than the real Child:

(A Little Wicked Cakery, California)

Those eyes! Can you believe this is actually cake??

And finally, one last stunner that looks more like a 3D painting than cake:

WOW. I love that Cara Dune is in there, too, she's awesome.

I hope these made you smile, friends, and that you have a stellar week. May the forks be with you.. and if not, feel free to eat with your hands. I won't judge.

P.S. Just making sure you've seen these cuties:

"The Child" Collectible Figures, 2-Pk

They're designed by Amy Mebberson, the artist & writer behind Pocket Princesses!

And from my other blog, Epbot:

Militarized Pool Noodles

Some folks ordered a cake shaped like the Pentagon, and to be safe, even brought in a picture:

They got this:

(The misspelling is what I call "adding insult to a headdesk-induced injury.")

Next Jas ordered this bright and beautiful design:

But instead, she got liquefied pool noodles:

Mmm. Now there's a texture to get your mouth watering!

(Srsly, what do you have to do to icing to make it look like that? Do I even want to know? Because if it involves someone's toothbrush, I'm pretty sure I don't want to.)

And finally, I'm going to end with something that's not cake, but trust me, it's worth it.

See, the group "Sisters By Grace" sent flowers to one of their members a while back, and the card turned up looking like this:

The Sister's Bike Race. Ha!

Ah, but wait, it gets better.

Naturally, the Sisters reacted to the goof by doing what any sensible group would do:

They turned it into the group's official t-shirts.

They even included the "love & prayer's" line. :D

See? Told ya it was worth it.

Thanks to Sheri, Jas C., & Julie P. for giving non-baking wreckerators a little race.

P.S. I just found MY kind of bike race:

"Tour de Pizza" Cutter

This cuteness is actually a PIZZA CUTTER - both wheels cut! - so you can race it through your pizza without ever breaking a sweat. It even comes with a little kickstand, omigosh.
