What's a Wreck?

A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.

Now, don't you have a photo you want to send me? ;)

Today's "Feature"

Lookie what I found when John and I actually left the house last weekend:

Orcward Pie!

Yep, I figure it's fine in small doses, but you really shouldn't make it a "hobbit."

[snicker]

(Yes, I *am* still taking Saturdays off - sort of. This is just something from my Twitter feed I thought you might "enjoy." So no griping about it not being a cake, hear?)

Wow guys,

Jen and I were just having breakfast at Perkins one morning and noticed this kinda funny sign that looks like it says orcward. So I took a picture. Then Jen was like, "I'll put it up on Saturday just 'cause I think it's kind of funny."

And now I'm getting mean comments and e-mails.

Right now, it makes me want to rethink that whole no swearing policy.
