It's Getting Hot In Here...

Today is Heat Awareness Day, so pay attention; this is important.

It's hot.*

*Not applicable in the majority of the North Eastern United States. Or the North Western parts. Or Canada. Or England. Or Australia. Or really anywhere else that isn't Florida right now.

And now, let us sing our traditional Heat Awareness Day song!

P.S. Back when my thyroid was first fixed I was so dang hot our ancient A/C unit couldn't keep up. Nights were the worst, and let me tell ya, this little water pillow was a life-saver:

Cooling Water Pillow

It says to stick it in the fridge first, but I never bothered; even at room temperature it kept my head and neck so much cooler. No more waking up and flipping the pillow over! Just be careful with the nozzle; I had a few drips leak out until I added a little plumber's tape under the cap.
