What's a Wreck?

A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.

Now, don't you have a photo you want to send me? ;)

And a happy holiday to you and John, from an old lady + cat who always get a giggle (if not a guffaw) out of your posts! May you both have your best new year ever!

These must have been written the way the wreck-orators hear/say the words. Maybe phonics isn't the way to go, after all.

Chritmas is a very real holiday! It's the day when you go to Greece and then all your dice roll natural twenties. Even the ones that aren't d20s, which is frankly pretty weird.

And for bakers, let's get them all spell-checkers and English classes for CHRISTMAS. Then again, maybe not. After all, where would Cake Wrecks be without these?

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Ah! I know who cake #2 is for! Even if it wasn't planned that way!

My college friend Christi threw herself a birthday party and called it Christimas.
Ignore the fact that it's in February.
(I mean for the cake. Christimas was pretty fun.)

Also, does anyone get a "Yeah!" vibe from the Santa on the top cake? Like he's pointing his index fingers at you?

Merry Xmas, everyone!

Just so you know, #MerryChrismas is trending on Twitter because too many folks can't spell.

Happy Festivus!

Lol never knew there were so many variations on Merry Christmas before now. Wreckerators are teaching me new and unusual things that I can never use but will always laugh at lol.

I didn't even notice the misspelling on the first cake because I was too busy staring at testicle Santa.

"Happy Hollyday" _might_ not be a wreck - I know a Holly who was born on Dec. 25.
